As for an update. . .

I've been at Cason Lane for a little over a month, and I'm really enjoying it. The classes I teach are Spanish ((K-3)), Jewelry Making ((3-6)), and Molding Mania ((K-2)). If there is an inservice day for teachers and the kids are out ((like tomorrow)), I usually work with kindergarten for half a day.

There are two weeks of summer break left before MTSU starts back. As luck would have it, at least two of my books are new editions. This means I consider anything I find online between $60-$70 a good deal. I will finally get back into really studying Spanish this semester. I'm kind of scared. . . it's been over a year since I've been in a classroom and even then I was teaching myself most of it, and here I am skipping nine hours and going straight into a college level intermediate Spanish 2 class. Yikes.

This summer has been filled by a lot of surprises from God. I don't know where several things ((one in particular)) are headed, but I've been given my "daily bread". . . that's really all I need.

UPdate

Let's see. . . I'm no longer a teenager. That's right: Anna Miller has entered her 20's. Good grief, that seems unreal. I had a very nice dinner with my parents, brother, sister-in-law, Aunt Nyla, and Karen at O'Charley's. I received a camera about four weeks ago as a present from my parents, Karen painted me a picture, Uncle Stanley and Aunt Darlene gave me a mug with a 1986 calendar on it, and my brother and his wife got me the second season of The Cosby Show :)

I had an interview at Cason Lane for a position with ESP on my birthday too. . . and I got it :) I'm looking forward to working; I should start later this week. Yay for employment.

I'm moving into our "garage" later on this month. Mom and I painted the room with a very pretty shade of brown. . . it reminds me of a frappucino. It'll be a nice place to hang out and watch movies with friends and such.

I guess that's it. . . God has been working like crazy in my life.

It's been a long while. . .

Taevan's closed down April 21st, and I've been looking for a job ever since. I've had two interviews with ESP, and now I'm basically waiting for them to tell me what to do next. . . if they ever call back that is. I hate waiting around. I hate not working. It was nice for awhile, but I can't stand always being around the house. So pray that I get a good job within the next couple of weeks please!

I've been out of school for about a month, and I don't go back until the very end of August. I'm signed up for sixteen hours: Spanish, Intro to Music, Astronmy/Lab, Speech, and History. Hot dog.

My relationship with God is continuously growing. I've learned that it will never be the same, but that's okay as long as it's getting stronger. I am doing a sucky ((and Skid I know you hate that word, but I can't really come up with anything else to describe it)) job of reading the Bible on a regular basis, and that needs to change. Though, in my struggle to read, I've learned that God speaks to us beyond just the Bible. In everday situations, in friends, and in just observance of others, He's talking to us, showing us things about our lives and how we should live.

I guess that's it. Seriously guys, pray that I'm able to get this job, and if not this one, something better. . . but right now, I can't think of anything else that I really want to do.
